Originally developed for demanding operational use, Alpha® provides insulation without trapping excess heat and moisture during periods of high exertion.

Polartec® Alpha® allows excess body heat and moisture to escape during intense activity, while continuing to provide lightweight warmth when the pace slows. Quick drying and highly packable, it helps reduce the need to constantly stop, shed layers and re-layer as conditions or activity levels change.

The result is a versatile insulating layer that adapts to changing levels of activity – delivering warmth when needed and breathability when the pace increases.
